Barclaycard unveils contactless wristband

If you think from the customer perspective, this will help alleviate fear of contactless payments (a separate top-up account like an Oyster card as opposed to directly linked to your bank account) and help drive adoption rates when the 'real thing' finally becomes available. I think it's one of many steps in the right direction.

PCI Council warns ATM operators as Windows XP deadline approaches

In an age when mobile operating systems like Tizen, Android and iOS are being used to power Fitness Trackers, is it too far fetched to reason that something with a simple capability like an ATM should have a custom operating system?
